Candida Royalle is a former porn actress from the mid 70′s turned director of mainly couple oriented porn, A true pioneer of her time.  She is a member of the XRCO and AVN Halls of Fame.  After starring in about 25 adult films inher early career, Candida Royalle made the jump to director and in 1984 started her own company Femme Productions.  With this new company, she focused on female oriented erotica, showing realistic sexual activity between couples rather then the fake reality, gonzo style porn that saturates the market.  This approach to adult films has been a extremely successful one and has led to praise from counselors and therapists alike.
